Purchased Home with Hardishake Roof
We purchased our house 3 years ago, which has Hardishake roofing. We need to replace some of the tiles, and in my online searches, I keep coming to your website/info. However, I live in Los Angeles. Do you have any advice or contacts on what I can do or the best thing I can do about this? Thank you very much. – S. Esmond, California

My husband and I bought a house Oct1, 08 that had a hardishake roof. When we bought the roof we knew it needed to be repleaced but we did not know that it was only 16 years old. During the bidding process a few of hte ocntractors have told us that we have hardishake and there was a lawsuit. I tried to pursue the official claim, but because the roof was put on in 1992 the deadline has past. I know that no claims were filed against our house. The roof has some minor leaks and the shingles are falling off. We need to replaced it ASAP. What can you do to help us? Thanks.

Our house in LA has a hardishake roof installed in 1988.
I have the 50 year warranty.

metal roofings should be the best, they are sturdy and can be replaced easily ,;-
